I sent a demo tape to Atlantic Records of material recorded by the Canberra based originals rock band, The Throbs, featuring singer Andrew Bisset, who I was managing at the time.
They passed on the opportunity to sign them, but it was certainly nice to get a reply from one of the American big guns.
