Double J will kick off the Hottest Weekend in January by reliving the Hottest 100 of 20 years ago.

If you had any time between repeat viewings of Shrek 2 and episodes of The Simple Life, you would have heard a heap of awesome new music back in 2004.

It was the year artists like Franz Ferdinand, The Killers, and Scissor Sisters first really staked a spot in our hearts, where they remain to this day. Locally, acts like Missy Higgins, John Butler, Eskimo Joe and Little Birdy had us enraptured.

To kick off the Hottest Weekend in January, Double J will relive the Hottest 100 of 2004.
