Paul McCartney, one of the most influential and revered artists in the history of music, will return to Australia before the year is through for a string of stadium shows.
McCartney has written a few good tunes in his time. His band The Beatles (Google them if you don't know them) were a pretty big deal in the 1960s. Kind of a big deal after that as well, if we're being honest.

Honestly though, you can't put into words the contribution this artist has made to the shape of pop music.
It's an influence that extends well beyond record sales; he and John Lennon changed the way the world saw rock and pop music and managed to remain experimental and subversive while being the biggest pop cultural entities to ever exist.
After a 25-year absence, McCartney last visited in 2017 for a few big stadium shows (and a pretty awesome Take 5). Those concerts were joy-filled trips down memory lane for all concerned, as tens of thousands of people of all ages and backgrounds came together (pun not intended) to celebrate the most iconic music of our time.
"I've got so many amazing memories of my time in Australia over the years," McCartney said in a statement today.
"Our last trip was so much fun. We had such an incredible time. Each show was a party so we know this is going to be incredibly special. Australia we are going to rock! I can't wait to see you."

If you have even a passing interest in music, then you should really consider witnessing one of the greatest to ever do it. If you're tossing up whether or not you should go, just put on a Beatles record – the answer is in there. He also plays Wings and solo songs if that's your thing.
