CAPO's 2024 Grant Winners Announced

Capital Arts Patrons’ Organisation announced the winners of 24 awards in its 41st Grants round at the CAPO Awards Night, held on Friday 1st November at Grainger Gallery.  


The awards were presented by the CAPO Patron, Genevieve Jacobs AM and the awards’ respective sponsors. The CAPO Awards provide financial and in-kind support for a range of new arts projects by emerging and established artists. The CAPO Fellowship has a value of up to $15 000 and is jointly funded through the sale of donated art and business items at the annual fundraiser and auction, to be held this year at the Grainger Gallery on Saturday 9th November and sponsorship by Allhomes. 


CAPO’s most prestigious award was presented by CAPO Patron, Genevieve Jacobs AM, to Christopher Carroll Actor, Writer and Director. Christopher will be the 2024 CAPO Fellow and during this time Christopher will be working on ‘Crims’ an electrifying, bare-knuckle physical theatre work, based on real-life stories from Sydney's criminal underworld in the early 1900s.

CAPO Fellowship 2024 - Christopher Carroll
