Daryl Braithwaite can't figure out why The Horses became a hit, but he still loves performing it to live audiences, 35 years after he released his version of the anthemic track.
"There's no real rhyme or reason except for the fact that it's a really good song which appeals to some people, obviously in different ways," he said.
After having to cancel some of his shows due to illness, Braithwaite told Mornings presenter Saskia Mabin he had recovered and was looking forward to bringing his ‘You won’t go home whistling the lights’ tour to Canberra.
