Film composer Hans Zimmer is returning to Australia for his first tour since 2019, bringing his acclaimed live show to arenas across the country this April.
The multiple Academy Award and Grammy winner will present his Hans Zimmer Live production featuring a 19-piece band and full orchestra. Australian fans can expect a setlist spanning the composer’s extensive catalogue of cinematic works, newly arranged into concert suites.
Australian vocalist Lisa Gerrard joins the touring ensemble, performing collaborative works from films including Mission: Impossible, King Arthur, Black Hawk Down, Tears of the Sun and Gladiator – the latter earning both artists Golden Globe recognition and Oscar nominations.

The show promises reimagined versions of scores from Gladiator, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Dark Knight, Interstellar, The Lion King, The Last Samurai and Dune, for which Zimmer received his second Academy Award in 2022.
Zimmer says he’s unbelievably excited to bring his jam-packed show to Australian stages. “I love this feeling of uniting my family of extraordinary musicians with you, the audience,” he says.
“But nothing would have meaning without the good grace and support of you, the other part of the family – the audience. Ultimately, the music connects us all, and I promise you this: we will always play our best, straight from the heart.”
The composer has scored over 500 projects across his career, with combined box office earnings exceeding $28 billion. Recent works include No Time to Die, Top Gun: Maverick, Dune: Part Two and Blitz.
His touring schedule has encompassed headline slots at Coachella Festival, sold-out runs across North America and Europe, and performances at Formula 1’s Singapore Grand Prix.
